Meanwhile, deep inside the forest, Bailey was silent as she crept into a clearing and watched her prey--a deer, eating berries off a bush. Bailey grabbed her bow and arrows, which were hidden inside the trunk of a tree, and loaded her bow. "That deer looks delicious," she murmured to herself, and her stomach growled quietly.

Aiming from behind the bush, Bailey didn't make a single noise. The deer continued to eat, not knowing it was being hunted. Bailey smirked as she pulled back the bow. Suddenly, there was loud screeching sound and screams from over by the city that echoed through the clearing. The deer was gone in a second. Bailey growled and cursed under her breath. "What the hell...?"

Standing up and walking out from behind the bush, Bailey stared at the smoky sky. She raised an eyebrow and began to walk toward the city, stashing her arrows and bow inside the tree trunk.

Commandos were on the area in a minute, surrounding the tank and pushing the citizens out of the area.
A man walked up to one of them. "Hey, what happened h-"
"Civillians are to stay at a 20 foot radius.If you don't comply, then I am authorized to shoot you and burn your f**king corpse, NOW GO!"
The soldiers approached the tank and examined the wreckage.
"No traces... other than the tank."

Zechs could see the commandos from the roof. He jumped down, to the street,but out of their sight. he approached a woman."Boo."He showed his claws.
She screamed and fled right into one of the commandos."FREEZE!"
She ignored the order and fell over onto the man. "help!"
They looked down the alley. Zechs was there. He ran forward and killed the scientist.
"THAT'S HIM!" Zechs jumped up and away. He was gone.
The commando looked at the girl. "She's been exposed."
He put a bullet between her eyes.

Daphnie was at a questionable pause. She had no idea whether to assist the poor, sinister attacker, or simply sit and watch. Either way, she wasn't about to help the defending side.
Though, apparentally, she spent too long in la-la-land. The person had leaped away. She opened her mouth slightly in surprise, and decided to go catch up to him.
Not directly speak to him immediately, just watch a little, see what he did.
She sprinted off toward the direction he fled in.

Zechs powered down the street, then turned and began to run straight up the side of a building. When he made it to the top he took a breath and strolled to the edge. He sat down and pondered the commando he consumed. "Private First Class,Timothy Lamons. Age, 20, social security number 435-67-9834... 2 brothers..."
he went on like that, saying the man's info
"Reported to Cpt. Eric Lim..."

The young mistique quickly but silently followed the mysterious fellow, hiding herself in the shadows. (Which was nothing unfamiliar to her.) She trailed on alond after him, quickly. She followed down a street and, suddenly, was forced to stop.
Daphnie witnissed him, litterally, RUN up the side of a building. She just stood staring, jaw dropped, and groaned.
"Ugh, can this guy be any more weird." She asked herself, trying to figure out how to spy from down here.

Bailey walked into the street, where many people stood with their mouths wide open. Walking through a crowd, she looked up and saw a boy running straight up a building. She almost showed surprise, but fought to keep her expression calm. Who is this guy? she asked herself. What's he want?

it hadn't even been an hour since the initial killing of the tank, and allready, there were tanks patrolling the streets, and men with guns patrolling the sidewalks.
Zechs stood up. It was time to go. He walked straight off the side of the building, fell, and landed on the street unharmed. he left a large imprint on the street. A passing commando noticed him. He reached for his radio, "Here! My position! Send in a squad he's on Burlap Avenue!"

Daphnie watched in complete awe. She attempted walking over to check this guy out more carefully, but just 10 ft. away, one foot tripped over the other and she face planted onto the ground with a gasp.

"sh**..."

Zechs narrowed his eyes and turned around.
He looked at daphnie. No time. Hegrabbed herby the throat, then ran into a nearby alley.
He held a claw up to her throat.
"Who are you? WHO SENT YOU?!"

Daphnie gagged violantly at the harsh grip at her neck. She threw a swift kick at his chest with her foot, causing him to drop her and back off.
"No one sent me, smart-A**." She answered with a humph.

He growled. "Then why were you spying on me?"

"I-...." She wasn't exactly sure. Why HAD she started watching this... this thing. She had no business doing so. She didn't wish to stop him. She just wanted to... watch.

"You... interest me. What was that whole thing back there with the tanks!?"

"Let's just say i'm not a friend."
"THERE!" 4 Commandos ran in. "Kill him!"
They all fired shots into him. Zechs fell over.
The commandos looked at Daphnie. "She's been exposed!"
They aimed at her.

Daphnie's eyes widened.
She yanked out the pistol and her right pocket and started shooting out at the commandos. "Eat led you dumb bastards!" She shouted out at them, sprintng forward. She shot two dead in the head, dead punched some others in the face, shot others in the legs, and so on.

Kicking. Their. A**.

Zechs stood up. "Not bad."
A helicopter flew overhead. Zechs' hand turned into a large blade, he ran up the side of the building, jumped up, then cut it in half.
More commandoscame intothe alley.
Zechs growled. "We'll meet again." Then ran off.
Leaving daphnie.

Daphnie raised an eyebrow in question.

This guy would prove... interesting.

My story

Meanwhile, Keno was missing out on all the fun. Wearily, she dragged her notebook out of her black school bag and finished off her maths homework. (that's why i haven't been online- rachel)
'not many things are happening around here,' she thought, obviously knowing nothing of the commotion in the city. (it IS the city right?)
it's her last year in high school and she has been working harder than usual.

Keno settled with a box of pocky on her sofa and turned the TV on when...

"This just in, an unidentified disturbance has set the cities ultimate guard off course. We are not sure exactly what this being is, or what possible damage it's caused. All we know is that a millitary tank is setting off course, heading towards Gotham's center."

Keno sat up with interest, and bent over for a closer look.
"Sounds like trouble..." she muttered to herself and left her apartment. (she's still 17, but lives alone- since she's from another dimension and all)
She quickly transformed with her Died necklace- just in case- and jumped out of her window (5 storeys high)

she flew from the rooftops, careful not to be seen. she finally arrived at the scene with the tanks and military force (?) after spying on it a little longer, something caught her eyes.
A man (or boy?) ran upwards a building- much to everyone's surprise. Even Keno's red eyes widened a tiny bit.
'What kind of enemies do people send me these days,' she thought, sighing.

Bailey had been prepared to shoot down many of the officers, but in a flash, the girl began to beat them senseless and the boy ran off and up another building. She noticed a teenage girl walk up to the scene, eyes wide open. She touched her knife in her pocket.

(Elisah, yeah you can just fill out a character sheet.)

Almost immediately, Daphnie's eyes grew wide and she flinched around to meet the gaze of another girl. She flashed out her weapon and aimed deadpoint at the teen. Daphnie's eyes glared, darkness filled them and the gave off an unsteady feeling.

She stood there, silent.

Bailey took a step toward the girl, her hand clenching the handle of her knife inside her pocket. Keeping her grip on her knife, Bailey strode over to the girl and raised an eyebrow at her. "Nice moves you got there..." Real smooth, Bailey thought to herself, mentally facepalming.

Keno's POV-

Keno watched with interest as she saw two teenage girls engage with each other. they seem to be unsure of each other- whether the other one was a threat or not. Keno moved a tiny bit closer, in case things got ugly since they both seemed to be carrying knives around.
'who carries knives for goodness's sake,' Keno shook her head and quickly glanced at the boy that ran up and down buildings like it was the simplest thing in the world. Then she turned back to the girls.
They're mouths were moving- which meant they were exchanging words with each other. Keno quickly flew over them and hid behind some buildings to hear what they were saying.

(Nah, we're like at the edge of it sorta having a showdown type thing XD

Daphnie relaxed. This girl seemed too simple. "Yeah..." she didn't bother disagree, and she didn't dare show flattery. Her eyes scoped the girl heavily. "You're very... um..."
"What?" the girl counter-asked.
"Simple." She stated with no feeling. Then, Daphnie began to walk te direction Zechs had left in. "Sorry kid, but I'm interested in more complex ideals, you understand." And, with a flip of her hair, she was off.
